What grades do you serve at Valley Prep School?

No, Valley Prep is an independent, secular, coeducational, not-for-profit 501(c) 3 school, founded in 1957.

What secondary or high schools do your students attend after 8th grade?

Valley Prep eighth grade graduates have recently attended the following high schools: Redlands High School, Redlands East Valley High School, Citrus Valley High School, The Webb Schools, Aquinas High School, Arrowhead Christian Academy, Loma Linda Academy, and Redlands Adventist Academy.

Valley Prep is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

What is the foreign language curriculum?

Preschool through first grade students learn French and Spanish. Beginning in the second grade, students choose either French or Spanish.

What is the school calendar year?

Valley Prep follows closely the calendar of Redlands Unified School District. We begin classes in mid-August and end in early June (175 days).

What are the school hours?

8 a.m.–3 p.m. for preschool through eighth grade (with before/aftercare available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

Are transportation services available at Valley Prep?

No, Valley Prep does not provide community based transportation. We encourage our families to allow us to facilitate introductions for carpool arrangements, as we have students attending from many communities throughout Inland Empire.
